Hi, I own a fishing shop in Northwestern Québec. I sell canadian nightcrawlers. Are europeen nightcrawlers as big and good for fishing as the canadian. If so I could be interesting in buying. Also, do you ship? How much would it be for 500 nightcrawlers?

Hi Jack

Thanks for your interest in my European N/C, I have seen a few that were close to the size of a Canadian N/C, but on average the Euro is about 1/2 the size of the Canadian N/C, As far as what worm is better for fishing? I think the euro is a better worm in alot of ways.
The euro will not die because of the temperture warming up through the day(out fishing) The euros are a warm weather worm, they don’t need any (Refrigeration) The euro is a very active worm, and has a different colour then the Canadian N/C, in my opinion the euro catches more fish!!

Yes I can ship to Northwestern Quebec, I only sell these worms by the pound, Or already cupped and send to you,
How many in a pound?? 250-300 worms that would be close to bait size.

i’m interseted in starting my own worm farm . i live in apsley ontario an im interseted in purchings a starter kit for European N/C. an wondering if i was to go out side an gather my own canadain N/C if i could farm them the same way u’d fram worms.

How does a person deal with Northern Ontario
winters?
What special care is needed to protect the
worms from freezing temperatures?
Will they die if they freeze?
If they do not die with freezing will they come
back healthy and productive?
