The Old Vault Feeds The Worms

The Old Vault

The Old Vault Restaurant in Webbwood Ontario (Canada). Makes alot of great coffee and fantastic food. As a result there is alot of organic waste that will feed my worms. I pick up the coffee grounds and filters, along with potato peels, by the pail full.
All my readers don’t need to find a restaurant to feed your worms, with a home vermicomposting bin, you have all the food waste you need to feed your bin. Because I feed alot if worms (hundreds of thousands), I am greatful to find all this organic waste from the Old Vault to feed my worms

I just went through your pictures after e-mailing a question about when to buy worms in the winter. your pictures are great. I have picked up some very great ideas of where to pick up food for the worms. there are times that you think that there is a limited number of places that you can get the food from and then another idea pops into your mind. We have several chips stands in the area, so there will be plenty of potato peelings all summer. One stays open all winter and there would be a constant supply of peels. I like your screen idea. I think that it works like a charm. If this works for me, then I hope to move into a larger facility, and seeing the building that you have means that I can still grow into that size in stages. I am getting more excited about this venture the more I look into it.
Thanks for the pics.
I think I could sell the vermiculture to the local green houses for the spring time market. Not this year though.
